How to Configure ADSL Modem

1.Go to Start  Button>>> take Run (type Run in the search programs & files bar)
 2.In the Run type cmd 

3. The following command prompt window will come with a path and blinking cursor at the end. 

4.type ipconfig and press Enter key5.You will get a window displaying the follwing details

6. Select and copy the  Default gateway IP address.
7.Click open your browser and paste the copied gateway IP address in the address bar of the  browser.

8.Now you can start configuring your DSL modem by clicking  gateway.

9.Pick a task set up my gateway will come in it you have to enter in the corresponding fields your      User name and Password provided by the ISP(Internet Service Providers) and get connected to    the internet.

10.Click back to Home  to configure wireless 

11.In Home network>>wireless>>Configure>> Security mode>>Enable it

12.Give the password(10 character or number) in the corresponding filed.

13.Select WSP (note that this will secure the wireless connection and it is better option than WEP).

Imagine you got your girl friends laptop and need to check her personal photos secretly?? You will switch it on and will be shocked to find it is passwords protected  :D hey but wait , you can still check the photos bro.(Note Please:- I will not be responsible if you broke up with her...sometimes you can use this as a good way to ditch her with out much headache ..isn't cool). Lets follow the steps.

 step 1:- type Alt+Ctrl+Delete button

 step2:-You will get a window as shown below. In the username field type Administrator and click OK.

 step3:- When u get logged in to the admin got to start >>> go to Control Panel>>And take User Accounts

Step4:-  Select the corresponding log in (probably with her nick name)

step 5:- Click on Remove the password. And once again make sure that you are ready to go ahead.

step6:- Check the photos and wait to get beated up.. :D
