Are you an addict to Internet











There is a consensus among many scholars and researchers that modern communication technology, particularly the Internet has opened a new era of communication and interaction between human beings, and in the abundance of information and knowledge provided by its users. But on the other side there are also legitimate concerns of the negative effects on physical, psychological, social and cultural rights which may be caused. With the growing popularity of the Internet and misuse represented to spend a long time in which to sail, appeared the so-called Internet Addiction, a phenomenon that can not be ignored by scholars and researchers. Excessive use of the Internet and thereby mental disorders are proved with clinical evidenced by have a range of symptoms. The excessive use of the Internet is causing psychological addiction resembles somewhat in the nature of addiction caused by excessive use of drugs and alcohol. When you stop using the Internet, do you suffer from symptoms interruptions such as depression, anxiety and ill-tempered?  The results of this study that covered in the study spent at least 38 hours a week online, compared to only five hours a week for non-addicts. The study also noted that it can be described as addicts Internet, not browsing the Internet to obtain information useful to them in their work or studies, but in order to connect with others and chat with them online. Many studies have shown that these psychological symptoms and social Internet addiction include loneliness, frustration, depression, anxiety, and late for work, and the occurrence of marital problems and loss of family relationships social, such as spend enough time with family and friends and physical symptoms include fatigue, drowsiness, insomnia, and denial of sleep, and back and neck pain, and inflammation of the eyes. The excessive use of internet in children will result in their inability to mingle with their peers in the early years of age and it will make it difficult for them to develop their life skills and social skills .The parents have to be aware of this global problem and encourage children to appreciate the value of friendship and overcome feelings of isolation from offering different activities and tests them. Celebrating friendship day and finding more time for family interactions or chit chat , celebrating and taking part in  social functions etc frequently can help to find a rhythm between virtual world and real world.
