When we switch on our PC for some important purpose, it may take a little bit longer than usual to get loaded up and nothing else is needed to test our nerve than this. You may wonder why your OS is so slow in its booting process.In case of Windows Xp here is one tip to solve this issue.Step1:- Right Click on the my computer icon on the desktop.
Step2:-Go to the Advanced option in the System Properties.
Step3:- In the Advanced options you could see 3 " Settings " option. In it you have to select the Settings under the Performance.
Step4:- In the resulting Performance Properties chooseCustom option.When you select custom you will get a list of checked options. In it you have to un check(Remove the tick sign ) the following 3 options.
- Animate windows when maximizing or minimizing.
- Fade or slide menus in to view.
- Fade or slide tool tips in to view.
Click OK.Step5:- Go to the Advanced Options and select Settings under Start up and Recovery.
Step6:-In the Start up and Recovery section you have to disable the following 2 options.
- Time to display list of operating system.
- Time to display recovery options when needed.
Click OK to all the windows.And now you are done with doing a little bit of work to speed up the booting of your windows Xp.
